It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Gail Ellingson of Marion, Iowa, born in Union, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Raymond and Goldie Iola Speas (Clark). She is survived by: her sons, Dean Ellingson (Mayka), Dale Ellingson (Diana) and David Ellingson (Carla); her siblings, Jerrold "Jerry" Speas and Joy Hartz; and her former husband Orville Ellingson.
