It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Mae Scott of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelbert Ward and Lily Viola Ward (Lantz); her husband George "Sonny" Scott Jr.; her brothers, Hildreth and Raymond; and her sister-in-law Ruth Huebbe.
She is survived by: her son Paul Scott (Mary Jane) of Anamosa, IA; her sister Florence McCutcheon of Maquoketa, IA; her niece Iola McCutcheon of Maquoketa, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Scott (Joe) of Des Moines, IA, Jasper Scott (Brooke) of Anamosa, IA, Dan Kuper (Gwen) of Scotch Grove, IA and Jody Lietz (Dave) of Scotch Grove, IA; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Trey, Jayden Kuper, Brayden Cigrand of Anamosa, IA and Eli Scott of Anamosa, IA; her brother-in-law Harry J. Huebbe of Baldwin, IA; and her friend Jerry Ehlers of Dubuque, IA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
