It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Melvin Von Sprecken of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Melvin and Ramona Von Sprecken (Werner) of Maquoketa, IA; his wife Mary Frances Von Sprecken of Maquoketa, IA; and his siblings, Shirley Massey (Mike) of Crawfordsville, IA, Kris Franzen (Paul) of West Linn, OR and Dale. He was also cherished by 5 step-children, 21 -step-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Jackson County Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
