He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Elsner and Vera Elsner (Schlarmann). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Epping of Charlotte, IA; his siblings, Randy Elsner of Clinton, IA and Denise "Dee" McGettigan (Dennis) of Mineral Point, WI; his niece Angie Lehner (Ulrich); and his nephews, Dan Chambers (Kerrie) and Jason Chambers (Teresa).
