He is survived by: his former wife Georgette Garcia; his son John Evans, III (Lisa); his stepchildren, Mike Adams (Jolene), Jerrie Bringle (Mike) and Chris Adams; his grandchildren, Scott Adams, Steven Adams (Nicole), Alisha Haag (Matt), Jacob, Luke and Halle Bringle; his great grandchildren, Owen and Trevor; and his brother James Evans (Kathy).
