She was predeceased by: her parents, David Gingerich and Nettie Gingerich (Zager); her sons, David and Daniel; her granddaughter Angie; her great grandchild Tyler; and her siblings, Alice Zook, Olin, Delbert and Lester Gingerich.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Duwa; her children, LaVonne Gleason (Gary) of Bettendorf, Karen Hamann (Jim) of Long Grove, Vicki Shady (Tom) of West Liberty and Tim Duwa (Jackie) of Lost Nation; her grandchildren, Mark, Jason, Michele, Ken, Bonnie, Renee, Joe, Jeremy, Kim, Matthew and Marisa; and her daughters-in-law, Kathy Morrison (Jerry) of Marion and Melodee (Richard). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter.
