He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo V. Forinash and Sara Emily Forinash; his sister Delores Young; and his nephew Mike Young. He is survived by: his wife Bernadine; his daughters, Bobbi Wilson (Todd) of Centerview, MO and Billie Butler (Jeremy) of Atlantic, IA; his grandchildren, Caleb Wilson of Ruston, LA, Tori Wilson (Peter) of Warrenburg, MO, Levi Butler of Waukee, IA and Ellie Jo Butler of Atlantic, IA; and his sister Charlotte Downey (Dick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Richard Forinash Scholarship Fund, the Liberty Center Methodist Church, or the Lacona Fire Department.
