He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dumdei and Donnabelle Anne Dumdei; his grandparents, Mary (Kock), Fred Dumdei, Bertha (Snelson) and Guy De Sart; and his children, Heather Dumdei and Thomas Guy Dumdei.

He is survived by: his wife Janis Dumdei; his sons, Anthony Dumdei and Todd Dumdei; his grandchildren, Austin, Kia and Heaven; his great grandchild Lily; and his sisters, Rhonda Hanks (Dennis) and Roxie Fergason (Kevin). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
