He is survived by: his children, Kara Smith (Matthew Bradway) of Fort Dodge, Zach Smith (Danielle Eaton) of Lake City, Kaitlyn Smith (Landen Halvorsen) of Arcadia and Cody Smith of Rockwell City; his grandchildren, Major Bradway, Mykel Halvorsen, Wesley Halvorsen, Aria Lisk, Bentley Lisk, Cooper Smith, Harper Smith, Beckem Smith and Brynlinn Smith; his father Terry Smith of Rockwell City; his siblings, Chad Smith (Tamara) of Waukee and Jennifer Scheidegger (Kerry) of Jolley; and his friend Stephanie Sisson of Humboldt. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
