We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2020, at the age of 72, Richard Jacobs (Lacona, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jacobs and Marjorie Jacobs (Bauer); and his son Michael Joseph Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Linda Aubert; his children, Bob Jacobs and Amanda Vermeer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Cole, Grace, Jakob and Stella; and his siblings, Raylene Stoutner (Tom), Rhonda Hunt (Keith), Ryan Jacobs (Mica) and Renee Beardsley (Chip). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Interment will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Lacona. Monday and Tuesday due to Covid-19 restrictions no more than 10 people may be gathered at any time.
