We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2022, at the age of 93, Patricia Philben Alessandra (Knoxville, Iowa), born in Elgin, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Krause and Gertrude Katherine Krause (Jasper); her former husband Mike Philben; her children, James Patrick Philben, Jana Marie Dennison, Michael Gene Philben and Gregory Alan Philben; her grandson James Patrick Philben; her son-in-law P. J. Manning; and her siblings, Jim Krause, Tom Krause, Ken Krause, Gail Krause and Barbara Stonebreaker.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Lee, Kerry Thomas and Mary Jo; her husband Pat; her children, Peggy Manning of Knoxville, Sam Philben of Glenwood Springs, CO, Judy Philben of Knoxville, Don Noftsger, Jr. of Dallas, IA, Dan Dennison (Jana) of Knoxville and Nancy Philben (Mike) of Grimes, IA; and her stepchildren, Mark Alessandra, Lita, Rick Hodges, Patrice Alessandra and Victor Alessandra. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, one step grandson, one step great-granddaughter, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

“My Sympathy goes to Mr. Pat and the family. I am thankful for the time we shared a few years ago when I came with Duane and Helen Krause to your house. We had some good cousin sharing time for a few days. Pat was a wonderful talented person and Family was so important to her. We will miss her.”
