With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Cay Ewoldt of Knoxville, Iowa, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on February 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cay Ewoldt and Eda Ewoldt (Springsguth); his sister Eva Jean Fisher; his son-in-law Robert Wisner; his nephew Steve Fisher; and his niece Tammy Ewoldt.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Sobieszyk; his daughters, Cindy Wisner of Sun Prairie, Sandy Coon of Knoxville and Jeanie Ball (Larry) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Jamie Ball (Jacee), Christina Moore (Cody), Madison Matthews (Zach) and Jonathan Wisner; his great grandchildren, Liam, Rynlee and Bowen; and his brother George Ewoldt.
Memorials may be given in Lee's memory towards a scholarship in Lee's name.
