He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Swayne and Katherine Swayne (Glover); his son Larry Dean Swayne; his son-in-law Timothy Brees; his grandsons, Patrick Brees, Braden Westfall and Isaiah Dethrow; his stepfather William Kelderman; his sister Margery Johnson; and his half-brothers, Ted Kelderman, Keith Kelderman and Billy Kelderman.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Brown; his stepdaughters, Julie Ann and Melissa Jo; and his grandsons, Patrick Christopher Brees and Braden Cole Westfall. He is also survived by three children.
