It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma P. Fischels of Jesup, Iowa, born in La Porte City, Iowa, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Weber and Rose Schmitz Weber; her husband Kenneth Fischels; her son James Fischels; her siblings, Elmer Weber (Ruth), Ronald Weber, Jim Weber, Jack Weber (Darlene) and Geneva Wallace (Virgil); and her brother-in-law Robert Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Fischels (Marlys) of Independence, Ruth Schmitz (Bob) of Jesup, Rhonda Fischels-Bahl (Marty) of Baltimore, MD, Robert Fischels (Kathy) of Dysart and Janet Wensman (Tim) of St. Cloud, MN; her siblings, Mary Braun of Lompoc, CA, Roberta Gray of Waterloo and Eddie Weber of Waterloo; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Weber of Waterloo and Carol Weber of Waterloo. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
