He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Eichelberger and Lucille Eichelberger (Stine); his son Dr. Kevin Eichelberger; and his siblings, Carl Eichelberger and Carolyn Eichelberger.

He is survived by: his daughter Julie Eichelberger of Jesup, IA; his daughter-in-law Christy Eichelberger (Schrock) of Altoona, IA; his grandchildren, Amber Rueber, Corey Eichelberger, Katelyn Eichelberger and Caleb Eichelberger; his great grandchildren, Kyra Johnson, Trinity, Jeffrey, Jaxon and Hunter Rueber; and his siblings, Paul Eichelberger (Gene), Marilyn Wise of Ohio and Betty Matthews of Ohio. He is also survived by his family and friends.
