Thomas C. Corkery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas C. Corkery (Jesup, Iowa), born in Fairbank, Iowa, who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles Corkery and Margaret Elizabeth Corkery (Staebell); his wife Regina Marie Fettkether; his sons, James and Joseph Corkery; his brothers, Bob, Paul, Mike, Dick, Lou, Ed, Lawrence and Raymond Corkery; and his daughter-in-law Bobbi Corkery.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Corkery (Joanne) of Brandon, Timothy Corkery (Sharon) of Independence, Jerry Corkery (Wanda) of Marion, Vincent Corkery (Michelle), Gregory Corkery (Kathy) of Jesup, Carl Corkery (Suzie) of Jesup, Keith Corkery (Bonnie) of Fairbank, Kurt Corkery (Rachelle) of Gilbertville, Rita Borrett (Kim) of Waterloo, Annette Bjorheim (Brett) of Stewartville, MN, Rose Gorton (Tim) of Marion and Theresa Hopkins (Matt) of Rowley; and his siblings, Leon Corkery of Moline, IL, Patti Sulentic (Richard) of Cedar Falls, Mary Kail of Peoria, IL and Terese Corkery of Bolivia. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to The Bosco System in Gilbertville, St. Athanasius Catholic School in Jesup, and to a Parkinson's Association.
