He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Francis Risse and Carrie Risse (Ritche) of Virginia; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his former wife Renae Koutsky; his son Travis Risse of Waterloo; his siblings, Steve Risse (Nancy) of Dysart, IA, Mike Risse (Tami) of Waterloo and Bonnie Landen (Kevin) of Waterloo; and his sister-in-law Kathy Risse of Denver, IA..
