We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2020, at the age of 86, Marlene M. Reiter (Jesup, Iowa), born in Bremer, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marlene M. Reiter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick John Meier and Hilda Matilda Meier (Westendorf); her husband Robert Joseph Reiter, Sr.; her sons, Randy Reiter and Robert Joseph "Bobby" Reiter; and her brother Donald Meier.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Reiter (Sue) of Waterloo, IA, Joleen Robb (John) and Angie Van Wey (Bill); her grandchildren, Carrie, Brett, Andrew, Jeremy, Justin, Jalana, Amanda, Adam, Aaron, Rachel, Meagan, Makenzie, Heather, Amber, Crystal, Cole and Callie; and her daughters-in-law, Denise Berns (Tom) of Waterloo and JoAnna Reiter of Jesup, IA.. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
At this time, due to state and federal guidance on gatherings because of the Covid-19 pandemic, private family graveside services at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Gilbertville, IA will be observed.
Memorials will be directed to the Don Bosco School System in Gilbertville, IA and to Countryside Vineyard Church in Evansdale, IA.
