He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence William Westemeier and Viola Westemeier (Schnieders); and his siblings, LuAnn Sheffler, Verna Coffin, Dorothy Fecht, Helen Lamos, Mary Jo Schneider, Jim, Don, Lawrence "Bill" and Thomas Westemeier.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Westemeier of Jesup; his daughters, Lynda Cutsforth (Daniel) of Fairbank, IA, Anne McClain (William) of Fairbank, IA and Becky Burke (Ray Burke) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Ryan Westemeier (Kasey), Elizabeth Kempf, Nicholas McClain, Abigail Sauebei (Taylan), Emily Snell (Richard), Allison Burke, Grace Ann Cutsforth, Emma Cutsforth and Sarah Burke; his great grandchildren, William Kempf, Leo Kempf and Tate Westemeier; and his siblings, Gene Westemeier (Joan) of Sun City, AZ and Susan Hendricks (Clyde) of Marion, IA..
Memorials will be directed to Camp Courageous of Iowa; St. Athanasius Catholic Church and to the Jesup Public Library.
