With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Truog of Jesup, Iowa, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lee Olson and Naomi Olson (Lapp); her husband Ronald Lee Truog; her son Rodney; her brother Dennis Olson; and her great-nieces, Audrey, Grace and Isabelle Anhalt.

She is survived by: her siblings, Marie Spencer (Leonard) of Louisville, KY, Dorothy Thompson (Larry) of Jesup, Raymond Olson (JR) of Fargo, ND and Kenneth Olson (Therese) of Jesup. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
