We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2021, Harold E. Clayton (Jesup, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert Clayton and Marcella Stella Clayton (Gruber); his brothers, Cecil Clayton, John Clayton and Robert Clayton; and his grandson Connor Zanker.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Clayton of Fairbank; his children, Alisa Felton (Doug) of Center Point, IA, Kelly Wolf (Alan) of Jesup, Marci Dahl (Dan) of Independence, IA, Cara Zanker (Garren) of Webster City, IA, Harold Clayton, II (Erika) of Fairbank and Kendall Clayton (Audrey) of Jesup; his siblings, Charles Clayton (Sandra) of Waterloo and Beverly Hill (Eugene) of Jesup; and his sister-in-law Judy Clayton (Tim Youngblut) of Waterloo. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
