She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Chris Marcussen and Sarah Ann Marcussen (Maher); her brother Michael Marcussen; and her nephew Michael Marcussen. She is survived by: her husband James Winters of Jesup; her sons, Michael (Sharon Winters) and Chris (Billie Winters); her grandchildren, Christopher Winters (Amanda), Beau Winters (Mary), Brock Winters (Brenna Newbold), Bryce Winters (Miranda Ebach) and Allison Winters (Evan Suckow); her great grandchild Theodore Winters; her sister Janice Schmit (Jim) of Gilbertville, IA; and her sister-in-law Elfriede "Friede" Marcussen of Harpers Ferry, IA..

Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic Church and to the Jesup Ambulance Service.
