She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kurt Schuchhardt and Leanor Elsie Augusta Schuchhardt (Drewelow); her husband Richard L. Venem; her son Richard E. Venem; her granddaughter Addisyn Menuey; her son-in-law Larry Schmit; and her siblings, Harold, Charles Schuchhardt and Violet Janssen.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Schmit of Jesup, Wayne Venem (Sue) of Jesup, Roger Venem (Lesa) of New Hampton and Robert Venem (Joan) of Jesup; and her brothers, Larry Schuchhardt (Sarah) of Garner, IA, Richard Schuchhardt (Sharon) of New Hampton and Norman Schuchhardt of Austin, MN.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandson; 2 step grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to the First Presbyterian Church.
