He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Panzer and Alice Panzer (Meeks); his brother Roger; and his son James Patrick Panzer. He is survived by: his son Gregory Panzer of West Point, GA; and his brother Robert (Ivy) of Hensley, AR..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chuck's memory to the Solon American Legion, PO Box 113, Solon, Iowa 52333.
