It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Krempges of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Krempges and Anna Krempges (Weber); his nephew Nick Negrete; and his brother-in-law Al Lysak. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hickey of Independence, IA; his children, Lisa Stewart (Dan) of Rothschild, WI, Matt Krempges of Independence, IA and Erin Zikmund of Independence, IA; his grandchildren, Gabriel and Grace Stewart; and his sisters, Margaret Lysak of Sudbury, VT and Rosemary Negrete (Simon) of Draper, UT..
