It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Harris of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Arnold and Neva Mae Arnold (Mulford); her husband Dean E. Harris; and her sister Mildred. She is survived by: her children, Terry Harris (Connie) of Monmouth, IA and Christina Hermsen (Marvin) of Jesup, IA.; her granddaughters, Stephanie Muters (David) of Marion, IA, Amanda Holland (Will) of Clarence, IA, Kimberly Bird (Harry) of Jesup, IA, Katherine Hermsen (Zack Johnson) of Waterloo, IA and Shelby Walker (Joseph) of Malcom, IA.; her great grandchildren, Braedyn Muters, Hallie, Brittney Holland, Keira, Kylie, Huxley Bird, Miles Krieger and Isabelle Walker; and her brothers, Eldon Arnold (Rhonda) of Aurora, IA and Kenneth Arnold (Mary) of Pilot Mound, IA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
