We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021, at the age of 72, Samuel Higgins of Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Higgins and Cora H. Higgins (Eastman). He is survived by: his son Shane (Shari); his grandchildren, Jack, Grant, Ella, Alec and Drew Higgins; and his siblings, Tom Higgins (Candace) of Independence, IA, Vince Higgins of Winthrop, IA, Mike Higgins (Kathleen) of Ocean City, MD, Ron Higgins (Mary Ellen) of Weldona, CO and Maggie Breitbach (Eldon) of Marion, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
