She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernard Gaffney and Elaine Gaffney (Short); her children, Debbie Bussey of Fairfax, IA, John Toale (Heidi), Cindy Toale, Dan Toale (Debbie), Terry Toale (Susie), Angie Horstmann (Brad) and Randy Toale (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Tamara Boxa (Dustin), Jackie Martin (Joe), Joe Toale (Bre), Grace Toale, Melissa Benish (Darrek), Michael Komes (Shasta), Ashley Connolly (Nick), Kayla Toale, Jacob Toale (Jill), Dustin Toale, Brady, Abby Horstmann, Jackson and Gabby Toale; and her brothers, Daniel Gaffney of Lamont, IA and Pete Gaffney (JoAnne). She was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
