She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer H. VanBrocklin and Lucile J. VanBrocklin (Lang); her husband Richard Blue; her sons, Richard, Roger and Randy Blue; her grandchildren, Celena Harrison and Joey Damron; and her great grandchildren, Emma Kniffin, Miles Cherrier and Mia Ratchford.

She is survived by: her children, Jettie Boleyn (Brad) of Hawkeye, IA, Kathie Hack (Ray) of Independence, IA, James Blue (Cindy) of Calmar, IA, JoAnn Harrison (Danny) of Fredericksburg, IA, Jerry Blue of Independence, IA, Jill Bigler (Ben) of Independence, IA and Dawn Jurgensen of Fredericksburg, IA; and her sister Eleanor VanBrocklin of Waterloo, IA. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, forty-eight great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
