It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miles James Leonard of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Leonard and Sophia Leonard (Glynn); his son Francis Leonard; his son-in-law Tim Kubicek; and his siblings, Glen Leonard (Helen), Henry Leonard (Audrey), Milton Leonard (Marcy) and Sara Malone.
He is survived by: his wife Madonna Leonard of Independence; his daughters, Sandra Magsamen (Ken) of Oelwein, Karen Kubicek of Dyersville, Donna Moeller (Rande) of Strawberry Point and Rose Ann Schuhmacher (Randy) of Troy Mills; his daughter-in-law Mary Leonard; and his brother Paul Leonard (Sherri) of Camanche. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
