He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Dilts and Gladys Dilts (Cornwell); his son Larry Dilts; his brothers, Virgil Dilts, Homer Dilts and Lloyd Dilts; and his half-sisters, Verna Schaeffer and Ella Sondroll.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Steven Dilts of Oelwein, Robert Dilts (Kristy) of Littleton, Roger Dilts (Yolanda) of Fairfield, James Dilts (Lyn) of Jacksonville, Kathy Allsup (Dan) and Teresa Kress (Dean); and his sister Lila Harmon of Canton, Illinois.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
