It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen H. (Bailey) Blad of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Ray Bailey and Effie Mae Bailey (Ennis); her husband LeRoy Alder Blad; and her siblings, Roy Bailey, Ralph Bailey, Clarence Bailey, Robert Bailey, Eula Brown, Nellie Green and Iva Dinnnebier.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Noe (John) of Brandon, IA, Char Bantz (Ron) of Independence and Connie Funke (David) of Jesup; her grandchildren, Darin Noe, Derek Noe, Dana Olson (Jesse), Eli Funke (Brittany) and Aaron Funke; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kendyl and Degan Olson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private family service Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the First Presbyterian Church in Jesup with burial to follow at Old Barclay Cemetery, rural Jesup.
