He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Tom Staton (Kim) of Urbandale, Ken Staton of Urbandale and Stephanie Decker (Pat) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Paige, Blake, Isabelle Staton, Lindsey and Mitch Decker; and his sister-in-law Nancy Birdwell of Iowa Falls.
