He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Conerd and Neva I. Conerd (Murphy); and his siblings, Richard, James, David Conerd, Geraldine McCraney, Jean Timmerman and Sherly McCord.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Conerd of Independence, IA; his children, Yolanda Conrad (Russell) of Island City, OR, John (Susan) and Jeff Kolthoff (Kathy); and his brother Daniel Conerd of Independence, IA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two sisters.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic social distancing standards followed and face masks will be recommended for those who attend.
