It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald D. Brown of Independence, Iowa, born in Quasqueton, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Weston and Dorothy Mavis Brown (Kress); his great grandchild Kinnick Marks; his sister Darlene Brown; and his nephew Steve Stark.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, David Brown (Kathy) of Denver, Burdette Brown (Ann) of Northfield and Peggy Marks (Doug) of Marion; his grandchildren, Abbie Schlarmann (Josh), Jon Marks, Ben Marks (Tiffany), Tyson Brown, Allie Brown, Molly Brown, Jake Neidermann (Leah) and Andrea Brown (Leland); and his siblings, Marlene Stark (Tom) of Taylorsville, Judy Melka (Mike) of Independence and Dennis Brown (Donna) of Paducah, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
