He was predeceased by: his parents, James Donald and Marjorie Louise Kimmerle (Gericke); his brother Bill Kimmerle; and his sister-in-law Leona Kimmerle. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Drew M. Kimmerle (Jessica) of Independence and Morgan Kimmerle (Gerald Pates) of Independence; and his siblings, Jim Kimmerle of Cedar Rapids, Tom Kimmerle of Independence, Gary Kimmerle (Sharon) of Marceline, Richard Kimmerle (Becky) of Prescott and Sandy Hosford (Larry) of Monticello, Iowa.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
