Barbara J. Siggelkov Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Siggelkov (Independence, Iowa), who passed away on April 25, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amel Joseph and Anna Augusta Melvin (Schmidtkonz); her sons, James Siggelkov and Adam Siggelkov; and her brother William Melvin.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Heinze (Alfred) of Oelwein, Laura Smith (Larry) of Fayetteville and David Siggelkov (Danielle) of Rockford; her siblings, Mary Walztoni of Independence and Pastor James Melvin (Sandy) of Janesville; and also Christina Domeyer of Independence. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence.
