He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Brown (Jacobson) of Bayard, IA; his children, Devi Ray (Mike) of Ida Grove, IA and Damion Nepper (Robyn Ritchey) of Altoona, IA; his grandchildren, Colby Nepper (Michael Eason), Gage Nepper, Landon Ray, Chesney Nepper and Chloe Ritchey; his great grandchildren, Taytum and Jaxdan Pierson; his siblings, Jerry Brown (Kristie) of Algona, IA, Linda Seuferer (Rande) of Milo, IA and Lori Brown McGivney of Bayard, IA; and his close friend Diogi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-niece, extended family and friends.
