He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunner Johnson and Anna Johnson (Jessen) of Ida Grove, Iowa.; his wife Alice Johnson (Jochims); his son-in-law Norman Friedrichsen; his stepgrandson Ricky Friedrichsen; his stepgreat-grandson Chad Brown; and his sister Mary Ellen Ludwig.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Zola Friedrichsen of Schleswig; his stepgrandchildren, Randy Friedrichsen (Linda) of Parker and Vicky Brown (Les) of Denison; and his stepgreat-grandchild Stacey Vaughn (Steve) of Parker, Colorado. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
