He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Christiansen and Adela Christiansen; his wife Darlene Christiansen; his sister Marilyn Nailor (Donald); and his son Todd Alan.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Alan and Darnelle Knudsen (Burdelle) of Ida Grove, IA; his grandchildren, Cordell Knudsen (Barb) of Ida Grove, IA, Chris Knudsen of Ida Grove, IA, Steven Christiansen (Jennifer) of Des Moines, IA, Travis Christiansen (Ashley) of Nixa, MO, Jason Christiansen (Aimee) of Nixa, MO and Jennifer Rush (Steven) of Blue Springs, MO; and his sisters-in-law, LaVonne Murray of Ida Grove, IA and Lola Pearson of Battle Creek, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A giving man, he shared the gift of life through regular blood donation.
