With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Drevs of Ida Grove, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Drevs and Mary R. Drevs (Shay); his parents-in-law, Ray and Lois Maguire; his sister Rosemary Drevs; and his daughters, Ann and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Maguire of Ida Grove, IA; his daughters, Amanda Campbell (DeeJay) of Ida Grove, IA and Samantha Whiteley (Sloan) of Wright City, OK; his grandchildren, Rebecca Whiteley and David Campbell; his siblings, Patrick Drevs of Lake Park, IA, Thomas Drevs (Kathleen) of Colorado Springs, CO, Terri Watcher (Joe) of Hubbard, NE, Jeane Drevs (Deb) of Greeley, CO and Kathy Drevs of Moville, IA; and his sister-in-law Marsha Scholl (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and CDC recommendation masks and social distancing are encouraged The Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, Iowa is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the Knights of Columbus.
