He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Schubert and Dellav Schubert (Morrice); his son Drew Schubert; his grandson Nathan Schubert; his brother Duane; and his sisters-in-law, Vernadine Schubert and Betty Schubert.
He is survived by: his wife Romona Schubert of Ida Grove, IA; his son Creston Schubert (Deb) of Galva, IA; his grandchildren, Jeremy Schubert (Matt Schubert) of Cherokee, IA, Tyler Schubert (Liz) of Galva, IA, Heather Pribble of Galva, IA and Tara Ruble (Justin) of Holstein, IA; and his brother Vance Schubert of Ida Grove, IA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
