She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert "Gib" Petersen of Ida Grove; her son Ron; and her siblings, Melvin Bandow, Edwin Bandow, Irwin Bandow, Virgine Ohl and Georgine Sievertsen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
