He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Henrietta; his mother-in-law Elsie Neitzke; and his siblings, Lynn Meier and Nancy Dieck (Pastor Evan).
He is survived by: his wife A. Jean Meier; his children, Diane Green (Bill) of Des Moines, IA, Jim Meier of Holstein, IA and Bruce Meier (Sheri) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandsons, Steven and Jacob of Jacksonville, FL; and his sister Carol Borchers of Holstein, IA. He is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.
