She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Grell and Ann Grell (Volkert) of Cushing; her husband Orville Friedrichsen; her siblings, LaVerne Grell (Dorothy) and Phyllis Conover (Tom); her brother-in-law Virgil Jensen; and also, Ed and Edna Friedrichsen.
She is survived by: her children, Kristin Hargens (Brian) of Hudson, Kim Schmidt (Alan) of Arthur and Kirk Friedrichsen (Jean) of Holstein; her grandchildren, Benson Hargens (Lora), Kelsey Hargens, Matthew Schmidt Schmidt (Gena), Aaron Schmidt (Kristy), Micah Schmidt, Isaac Schmidt (Aubrey), Audra Jourdan (Lormé), Katie Friedrichsen, Kirstie Bunjes (Wes), Kortney Friedrichsen and Kyle Friedrichsen (Angela); her great grandchildren, Parker, Lydia, Mari Hargens, Gabrielle, Gage, Grady Schmidt, Kwin, Meeka, Mya, Merida Schmidt, Rubie, Scarlett Schmidt, Brooke, Kaylin Schmidt, Elyon Jourdan, Cade, Kinsley, Braycen Bunjes, Nova Springate, Kyle and Angela; and her sister Jean Jensen of Kingsley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Holstein American Legion Dessel-Schmidt Post #225.
