Geri Bruning Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geri Bruning of Holstein, Iowa, born in Danbury, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gehrts and Florence Gehrts (Cassens); her husband LaVerne Bruning; her son Brian Bruning; her siblings, Norman Gehrts and Bette Grell; and her daughter-in-law Donna Bruning.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jeannette Bruning; her children, Vicki Armiger (Orrin), Theodore Bruning (Shelley) and Thomas Bruning; her grandchildren, Cheri Cipperly, Christie Fredrichsen, Kelly Bruning, Steph Armiger, Matt Armiger, Susan Cleveland, Shane Bruning, Marc Bruning and Brady Bruning; and her siblings, Ronald Gehrts (Rita) and Kathy Bicking. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no service or visitation held at this point in time.
