He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Friedrichsen and Marie Friedrichsen (Indorf); his parents-in-law, Emil and Frances Clausen; his siblings, Bob Friedrichsen (Lois), Pearl Henrichsen (Ervin), Dorothy Thornhill (Darwin) and Richard Friedrichsen; his brother-in-law Raymond "Bud" Clausen (Alice); his grandson Matt Conover; his great grandchild Hope Ludvigson; his niece Joyce Friedrichsen; and his nephews, Mark Friedrichsen, Dale Clausen and Jim Clausen.
He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Connie Ludvigson, Cathy Conover (Keith) of Iowa Falls, IA, Carole Fleck (Tom) of Woodbury, MN and Tim Friedrichsen (Jenni) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Landon Ludvigson (Christie), Hudson Ludvigson (Courtney), Andrea Widen (Mike), Christopher Fleck (Jamie), Benjamin Fleck, Max Friedrichsen (Monica) and Molly Friedrichsen; his great grandchildren, Carver Ludvigson, Bronwyn Ludvigson, Ryder Ludvigson, Peyton Widen, Allison Widen and Brynn Widen; and his sister-in-law Shirley Friedrichsen (Dick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family will not be present at the visitation, masks will be required, and social distancing will be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family for contribution to the Holstein American Legion or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
