He is survived by: his wife Willie Kate; his son Edward III (Helena); his grandchildren, Cheryl Young, Alexis Young, Zoe Young, Frederick Heath and Edward Keith; his siblings, Terry Young (Wendy) of Pell City, AL and Linda Young of Durham, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Ada McConnell of Pell City, AL, Nellie Posey of Pell City, AL, Betty Davis (Larry) of Pell City, AL, Francis Garrett of Pell City, AL, Lois Embry of Pell City, AL, Glean Walker, John Garrett (Gloria) of Los Angeles, CA, Charlie Garrett (Shirley), Talladega and Lee Garrett (Deana). He is also survived by four aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
