Mary Wachter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 89, Mary Wachter of Harpers Ferry, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maple Moody and Veronica Moody (Muench); her husband Jim Wachter; her sons, Glenn and Joseph; her brothers, Bob and Paul; and her granddaughter Jill Birkenholtz.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Snitker (Bruce) of Harpers Ferry, IA, Cindy Egan (Gary) of Waukon, IA, Charlie Wachter (Jackie) of Prairie du Chien, WI and Gary Wachter (Meika) of Rochester, MN; and her siblings, Donna Amfhar, Dorothy Hitchens, Eileen Cooper, Bill Moody and Lynn Moody. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
