With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Pauley of Harlan, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Schoemann and Sophia Schoemann (Blum); her husband Andrew Pauley; her siblings, Elaine, Sr., Mary, Josephine, Gene and Robert Schoemann; and her grandchildren, Allison Kreher and Angel Pauley.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Kreher (Dale) of Omaha, NE, Denice Nie (Steve) of Jesup, IA, Kris Hermsen (Jerry) of Dubuque, IA, Doug Pauley (Joan) of Columbus, NE, Daniel Pauley (Alicia) of Guthrie Center, IA, Pat Pauley (Sandy) of Honey Creek, IA and Julie Sonderman (Guyle) of Portsmouth, IA; her siblings, John Schoemann of Portsmouth, IA and Ceil Langer of Arvada, CO; and her sister-in-law Thelma Schoemann of Portsmouth, IA.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
